"The A&H Committee has conducted extensive research into the professional awards of industry, government, and other associations.  It is our position that in support of NCMA's strategic initiatives, the proposed NCMA Excellence in Contracts Professionalism Award, is a means of furthering that initiative.  We request your comments and input no later than the middle of March to allow adequate time for study and response.  It is our intent to present this award as part of the April meeting's consent agenda."
